Hi all well the trip to southern France was a real interesting trip. Well thats if you want to find out how a Wing will behave riding through some of the worst rain on record 17+ hours on the road rain laying so deep on the road I had to keep running to the right to touch the rumble strip as I could not see the road with the water laying 3 to 5 inches deep. But the wing just kept on going never missing a beat feeling stable and solid despite what the weather could throw at her. We touched 52mpg and improved on that when we went out on the French country roads around were we stayed. The most impressive thing was the comfort 17+ hrs wet, hail and at the end of the run still felt ok but wet, all other bikes I have owned would have destroyed your rear end lol. So all in all one hell of a trip cant wait untill next year

6 bikes left the club meet destined for Herne Bay, all going well untill we reached the first roundabout ,{3 miles from the club house} Was there a communication problem, or did Roy decide at the last moment to become the run leader, problem was He forgot to tell anybody and was halfway in the convoy of bikes and took a wrong turn taking 2 more with him, "was it a nice quick tour of Maidstone".Right back together again and off we go, I was having a problem with my cb, think i sounded like that 80's comidian, you know the one with the dodgy microphone {cant remember his name, answers on a post card please}.Smooth roads for a while and then potholes, dont you just love em.. then the voice in my ear said its a nice ride but I need a wee. Arrived in Herne Bay, down to Ernies fish and chip cafe, all getting seated, head count one missing where's Dawn, Off Dave trotts to find the Mrs, 5 mins later returns with Dawn, call of nature prehaps was to great and she wandered off in the wrong direction.Great Fish and chips and very good company thanks Roy+Jan,Ken,Dave+Dawn,Ron,Dave+Margret.
